Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I was a public information specialist in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam era. In this capacity I dealt with a civilian public, often under rather "unfriendly" conditions where news media and the general public questioned our service due to the anti-Vietnam War movement. This provided me with the opportunity to respond to numerous challenges, develop correct responses and ensure that my performance did not undermine the core values of the USMC. These same opportunities carry over today.
